Cleaning guidelines for leather and fabric clean codes are listed below:

Dust your leather furniture weekly with a feather duster to eliminate dust buildup or remove dust with the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Accumulated dust dulls the natural shine of the genuine leather.

Blot up accidental spills with a soft cloth immediately. Blotting rather than wiping ensures the stain is not rubbed into the leather and restricts the stain to one area instead of spreading it over the leather.

Fluff cushions weekly or twice a week if heavily used to reduce permanent wrinkles, which naturally form in leather over time.

Clean with water-based cleaning agents or water-based foam cleaning agents.

Clean with pure solvents (petroleum distillate-based products may be used). Water-based or detergent-based cleaners may cause excessive shrinking. Water stains may become permanent and may be unable to remove with solvent cleaning agents.

Clean only by vacuuming or light brushing to prevent accumulation of dust. Water-based foam or solvent-based cleaning agents of any kind may cause excessive shrinking or fading.
